The room was quiet and still, but full of giggles at times, as Elizabeth’s mom and grandmother helped her into her dress. It’s just one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. “It’s hard for me not to smile…” Life. College. Favorite restaurants. Tips for traveling to Biltmore. Best restaurants in town. We chatted and laughed and Elizabeth’s personality shown through. Her personality is infectious.
The ceremony drew closer and closer. Friends and family gathered into the sanctuary at the First Methodist Church in Waynesville. Kenny waited patiently to see his beautiful bride while a smile never left his face. Gently, but thunderous, the organ played. What a beautiful beautiful sound. The sound fills you and wraps you. And the doors opened. Elizabeth’s father walked her down while her grandfather waited beside of Kenny. (It’s always special when your grandfather and father marry you. Such heritage!) Let me know when you two lovebirds are back in town, okay?
