Driving though the twisty roads, even my GPS seemed to get confused at times. Is this really the right place? It’s a gravel one way road? And then the GPS lost signal. Sigh. I traveled on knowing that at least I was on the right road and thankful that I always plan to arrive super early. The road cleared into a opening a wooden cabin sat overlooking the mountains.
I grabbed all of my gear and met up with Ashley from Sposa Bella. It had been a couple months since I had assisted for her and we chatted as we headed to the bride’s family cabin. I fell in love with the wooden beams and tin roof. The views were majestic and I felt like I had escaped into a world all of my own. That’s what the Highlands are known for. With sleepy dogs and a few drizzles and dark clouds, the day seemed so relaxing and peaceful as friends and family came to celebrate. Just how I love it.
